Microfiber is the environmentally friendly
material that provides a safe, easy way to tackle almost any
cleaning job, with just water! Microfiber is a man-made
fiber containing polyester (the scrubbing material) and
polyamide (nylon absorbing and quick drying material).
Strands are approximately 1/20th the thickness
of silk threads (1/100th the diameter of a human hair). The
fibers are divided or "split" into sections through a chemical
process, creating microfibers separated by interval spaces
between the fibers. Unlike cotton, the fibers and interval
spaces attract and hold liquid, dirt, grease and grime, holding
it deep within the fiber.

This lint-free, streak-free, super absorbent
material can be used dry to dust, polish and buff. A damp cloth
cleans most washable surfaces without chemical cleaners or
solvents. Unlike disinfectants that kill bacteria, microfiber
removes approximately 97% of bacteria from surfaces.
In a similar way you determine the quality of
sheets by the thread count per square inch, microfiber is graded
by the grams of microfiber per square meter. Lower, retail grade
microfiber has lower grams per square meter (g/sm). Our
commercial grade microfiber products range from 350 grams to 750
grams per square meter (g/sm).
